Due to high demand and numerous parent requests, the institution expanded in 2020—during the COVID-19 pandemic—into a full-fledged international school offering quality English-medium education. The school follows both the Sri Lankan National curriculum and the UK’s Cambridge International Curriculum. Despite pandemic challenges, Brightwood ensured uninterrupted online learning. It emphasizes holistic education through strong academics, sports, and extracurricular activities like swimming, chess, music, dancing, and art, aiming to nurture well-rounded, responsible citizens.
